PLAYER MODELS UPDATE 5/23

@MAINELYBOSTON_PSN I hear ya. It’d be cool get some insight on how they decide what players get updated. Do certain guys really not have scans? Are they dripping players out slowly to keep people interested? It is a little strange to me to see random relief pitchers, who already had a player model, get updated before rookie studs like Kristian Campbell. Either way, I’m still pretty happy about this latest update. Hoping for more like it!

Garrett Crochet is the one that gets me the most what other aces in the game are just random dudes. This whole buy game in March and not have remotely finished product by June is pretty crazy, instead next week they’ll just update like Nick Sogard lol.

I would prefer it they give us all the scanned faces they have in one update. It frustrates me waiting 6 months and they are still giving us scanned faces they have held for a year or more. Updated hair and beards I don't mind coming each week or 2 but don't hold back scans. Fifa do this every year and I hate it. -
I’m happy about the latest update. They finally got Shaw scanned but they still haven’t updated his batting stance which i’m hoping they do soon.

The thing that gets me is the white Sox, Rockies, angels, tigers, etc never get any face scans. Only the teams they find relevant.
Why do we get guys like warming bernabel and not Jordan beck, dollander, or Goodman For the Rockies? The guys who are playing consistently and playing well….they never update the Rockies they do have scanned either. Ryan mcmahon and toglia have had the same scan for years.
Why do we get seaver king, Kellen Lindsay, lockridge, and culpepper but not cam smith, Kristian Campbell, Christian Moore, brooks Baldwin, chase Meidroth, Luke keashall, Connor norby, Kameron misner, walker jenkins, max clark, or drake Baldwin ?
No NICK KURTZ, Jace Jung, COLT KEITH, condon, cagliogne or aranda but we get Brennan milone , gage workman, and whoever they just added on the braves?
No ballesteros , Kyle teel, Edgar queros, Salas, or bassallo but we get Caleb lomavita?
No cade Horton, dollander, Shane smith , BUBBA CHANDLER, Bowden Francis, Jose Soriano, BRAXTON ASHCRAFT chase burns, Brandon sproat, Quinn Matthews, Hagen smith, Noah Schulz, waldrep, smith-shawver or Hayden birdsong but we get vasil, Sloan, Beeter, and caleb killian?
so many relievers missing too. (Slaten, holton, hurter, Gregory Santos , ben Joyce, Ben Caspirus, halvorsen, breiske , cantillo etc) almost all the Latino relievers are missing .they always just add random 30 year old guys for some reason. (Bachar, leibrant, stock, hartlieb, etc)
Most of the guys I named have been playing for a year or two or are either some of the top prospects who have played or will play this year. It doesn’t make sense how they have all these random young guys who have never played or all these random old players they keep adding but don’t have face scans for the top prospects and guys who have been consistently playing /starting in the MLB.
I think they have the scans and just hold off on releasing them. Half the players they just added still have the default face or whatever it is so Maybe they only have one person working on it… lol idk I’m Just happy they finally added some players.
Might be able to start a franchise soon! -

Jorge Mateo, Coby Mayo, Tyler Wells, Kyle Bradish, Colton Cowser, etc... Would be nice! -
@Shua2168_MLBTS Yeah it’d be really nice to hear from someone on how that works so we’re not out here guessing. It feels like it’s changed more recently too. I remember when a big rookie would just need to play a game and was instantly in the game the next week. I was planning on starting my franchise this week but then saw Josh H. Smith and Hyeseong Kim have the “glitch face”. I know that usually means they’ll be updated next, so guess I’m holding out one more week lol
Overall I’m happy we got a good number of guys. Just wish I knew what the actual process was.

@MAINELYBOSTON_PSN definitely due for an upgrade! He’s one of the best pitchers in the league… I kind of want nick sogards face scan lol. I get what you’re saying tho. We will probably end up with sogards scan but not Christian Campbell or Justin slaten and crochet probably won’t get an update til next year lol

@bleachfro_MLBTS they’ve never once responded to anything I’ve posted about face scans. I think it’s basically about the card game these days. Seems like DD is all they put any effort into anymore. Better late than never I guess….

This is why I buy this game yearly is for updated player models and new prospect scans. Super happy to see a lot of work being put in these past couple of weeks.
As a Braves fan I like what they have done with some of the stars. Now I’d like to see some other guys get some love.
