I’ve been on the quest for this answer for years. I am curious as to if there is much benefit using a monitor over my tv mentioned above?
If I go into OLED forums everyone is saying the tv is plenty fine and a monitor wouldn’t help especially since it’s such a high end tv.

    Here’s my issue,
When I play this game it’s choppy at times. Even during single player or foul balls. I’m not sure if it’s a lack of response time or if its frame rate issues or simply just the game. However, when I watch content creators on YouTube play this game their gameplay is extremely smooth. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    65” that’s big. I have the C2 42” (I think) and I like it a lot.

When I began playing DD in ‘20, I started on my LED TV and it was horrible (it was fine for Franchise, but not DD). I moved to a monitor with a great response time and it was much better. Then, I moved to the C2. Not only was gameplay better, but the game was clearer and sharper.

If you’re looking at an OLED monitor with the same response times, I don’t know if there would be much difference, but I love the game on the C2…I imagine the C9 is much better than what I have.

The C9 is actually older than your C2 believe it or not. Mine was released in 2019. Why LG is naming the x or 1-5 backwards is beyond me lol

Really? Weird. That's good to know. Thanks.

Edit. So, the C5 is the most recent. Maybe they began counting over?

C5 just came out correct. Can you get a good response time online with the C2? I know on HOF or GOAT its very tough on my tv catching up to those faster heaters.

Yes. When I first moved to it, I was no longer late on pitches...in fact, I was early on just about everything.

Here is the review on the C2 from rtings.
