Judge/Ohtani/Witt prices through the roof

I made a ton of stubs from investments, but Judge/Ohtani/Witt all went up huge after the update, and they're the only ones I need for Live Series Collection -- any speculation as to when any/all of these three will drop?

Unfortunately, I believe they will all hit 750k. I only need Ohtani but it's going to take a while. Hopefully SDS will insert more 90+ cards into all packs

@mwolve87_PSN They are actually inserting a bunch more low diamond cards with the moonshot cards and 11 more live series cards now. It will be even harder to draw a higher live series card.

@mwolve87_PSN 90+ pack ought to tank those prices I'd imagine; curious when they started releasing those last season?

The prices are rising because people are purchasing the lowest bids. Each time this happens the prices rise. The type of player who waited for the update because they were going to bank stubs are not the same gamers who will buy packs. So there aren't a bunch of packs being opened right now. Wait for a stub/pack sale.

Trout was about 77k last night. He's now over 100k.

They skyrocketed because so many people made stubs from investments and are buying the high diamonds with their profits. Happens with every roster update. Most of them will come back down, with the exception of probably Ohtani who will remain pretty high for a long time.

I figured I would finish the live series collection this week and of course they go up about 150k. For a live series card at that. No one really uses these cards in their lineup but they want to make it as difficult as possible to get the collection done. One step forward two steps back it feels like at this point.

Ohtani keeps getting more expensive...it's so annoying. I'm sitting on 750k stubs but I want to wait till I have neough stubs to get everyone I need and I feel pretty certain they'll do something to crash the market right after I spent all my stubs

Hint, next year sell all of your cards early. Grind and save to buy Ohtani first. I got him for 402199 this year. It sounds counter productive but saves stubs in the long run.

yup. I always work to get the most expensive gatekeepers asap every year. they always go up although not usually like this lol

I still need Judge, JRam, Witt and Skubal to complete LS... I have about 175K in stubs. I feel like a complete dummy just continuing to think I'll pull a mega hit in my standard show packs to be able to put a dent in getting these guys... Its like I'm buying thousands of scratch-off lotto tickets and expecting to win big.

i went str8 for trout cause I knew I would use him (and still use him as my starting RF) despite him getting nerfed some. I still use him leadoff too. His swing timing I just have down and his stats don't matter that much (yet).
I pulled judge when he wsa around 280-300k and kept him. Decided to complete the AL first cause I wanted clemens.
So yeah, if I had to do it over again I'd prob still do the same but doesn't make this ohtani price any less annoying

Increasing the cap for these cards to 750K was what made me take a break from the game.
They want us to spend money on stubs, so they want these cards to be very expensive.
