@Dolenz_PSN No problem! It did cost me a couple of steals though! I paused my game to do the list. When I went back to the game, I forgot I had someone on first to go steal 2nd and 3rd. I ended up swing at the first pitch and popped it up for the third out.

Looks like they made these new TA programs really easy to complete. Only 50k TA points needed and all the objectives are pretty easy to get through, especially with the extra PXP for HRs still going.

Two hitter captains can't both be used so you have to choose between the captain that gives contact or one that gives power.
They said that teams that have both a hitter and a pitcher will have a little less of a boost. Some jolt captains will be slightly nerfed if the can now be paired with a pitcher captain.

Because there are two captain spots and most teams will only be able to use one for like half the season
If they plan it out so that every team would be able to use two now then they would not need to have lesser boosts on some cards and feel the need to go back and nerf some of the Jolt Captains.
So they gave the Cardinals two CF captains so far but I can only use one as a captain.

And they insist on giving us [censored] players as captains. If it's a pitcher that's fine. Just have him on the bench. But you have to use hitters, so for the Red Sox captain I would have to use Yoshida over and over again. He sucks in real life so I doubt the card will be any good.

So if they gave the Cardinals a Captain it would likely be either Gray or Helsley most likely.
That would lock Edmonds into your lineup until the all star break when the next captain releases, when you will likely have three better OFs by then, if you don't already.

yeah, his hitting is very good but like 50 defense stats across the board and no speed. No chance hes playable in the OF
I'll reserve judgement until using him. I agree he's unplayable online but MAYBE he'll be a fun card offline.
Still need that Wilyer Abreu though.

I think the problem is that captains kind of conflict with teams specific theme teams. At some point the rest of the team always outclasses the captain so you are left with dead weight.
I wonder if MLB would just let them give manager cards? Use Mendoza, Marmol etc
