Now, just roughly 1milly till Beltran
I REALLY want Beltran and Hodges, but good hitting first basemen are easy to come by and Bryan Reynolds exists as a watered down Beltran
Iām fine with being patient and waiting for a price tank to finish the NL

@YOSHI24_XBL Wait. You had 25M Stubs? when did they remove the 5M cap? I haven't had 5M in a couple years so didn't realize that cap was gone.

You just store the stubs in something. Like I had over 10 million in stubs stored in just the Barrier Breakers cards in 24 because you could buy hundreds of them for quick sell value. If I ever needed stubs, I could just quick sell them and get my stubs back (spoiler: I never needed stubs).

@RealMessiah_XBL at one point in 24 I had like 20-30 500K buy-orders on Honus Wagner
and 200 dupes of various cards of high quick-sell value. At the end I bought packs off of it and had like 13K standard packs, 200 Chase ā¦ -
Quick little update ā¦
I have close to 500K stubs ā¦ I just played the game and kept on selling everything.
I pulled a Witt and Skenes on my way ā¦Collection-wise:
- I could easily have Rolen (but I am too stingy and waiting out the market to slow down)
- I completed the eggs and new threads program
- I am two cards away from completing the Moonshot-collection (3 mini season games to Gwynn to go, the other will probably be Candelario ) ā¦ but I would probably not play him with Hodges manning 1B and Rolen being my lock at 3B, so I will only buy him to complete the next big collection
- The main cards missing are spotlight and chase cards
Summary:
I learned a lot already doing this. I made world series without āthe best cardsā (never did that before) and overall I have more fun doing the game without excessivly looking at the market and flipping the heck out of it (which is totally possible ā¦ but not fun overall).
I am really looking forward to the next TA wave and hopefully the next collection -

Just need Ohtani to finish Live Series. Worked my way up to 158k so still quite a ways to go

When you say thst you sell EVERYTHING; does that also mean the cards from the MP Program and then buy them back later?

For sure ā¦ Inning bosses ā¦ Jerseys ā¦ Bats ā¦ sounds ā¦ everything that has worth and/or is not used on my team I play with because that is dead money.
I explained it in the first couple of posts.Reading the forum and complaining I get the feeling that way too many ppl buy cards/packs they do not need and/or are too lazy to clean up their binder.
I would have gotten Beltran way earlier if I had played the launch week (I was on vacation) -
Flipping is a complete [censored] joke this year. Like most of the game, in general.

ā¦ How did you fare? New approach?Still no flipping , but I pulled Jeimer in an Eclipse pack and sold him. That 150k stubs got me to where I need to be.
