If you are going to ignore captains, how about doing manager cards?

You can have current and legend managers that give your team special boosts, maybe extra boost to players from teams they’ve managed… Captains seem to be ignored this year except for the TA cards.

I am hoping we get new captains with the next TA release. Isn't there still slots for both Pitcher and Hitter captains but every team only has one captain so far?

I assume the next TA will be captains for 96 and below or something similar

@kingdutch_PSN It’s pretty annoying how big of a step back captains have taken this year. I think the content has been pretty good in general, but captains are a complete fail.

@kingdutch_PSN That's because Captains are supposed to be a fun way to make different theme teams relevant. But the way they are actually used is to just make the best cards better.

I really liked the way captains were used in 2023, every big program would have captains
Now that we are back to the smaller collection sets maybe we can start adding postseason, veteran, all star, etc captains?
Not the biggest fan of the Ripken style captains that were just for meta team making
