How Was Your 2nd Weekend Classic Experience?
-
Lost a game 2-1 in 10 innings i had 10 hits and my opponent had 1 , never played it after that lol
-
@yankblan_PSN The MP was already over so that wouldn't have mattered just FYI. For whatever reason they didn't continue it through weekend classic for this inning like they did the 1st inning.
-
Played one game, won 3-4 after a walkoff single by Trent Grisham. Overall had a fun time.
-
What do you guys do when you get in a round that’s laggy as hell ? I can’t do it and think I’m just going to start quitting. The game is ridiculous.
-
I went 4-2 in the highest silver league. I wasn't able to play all weekend so had to play all 6 games yesterday which was a little rough, but pretty happy with the outcome.

4-2. Snell from my diamond pack.
Crochet for me but I got soderstrom in another pack that was like 25k
-
@trfatboy22_MLBTS what? I got the MP finished on Sunday while in WC and haven’t played after that.

nice yea I got a sod too. figured it was payback for buying 75 of his live series in anticipation of a raise.

@yankblan_PSN Hmm, weird because I had to hurriedly finish mine last Thursday because it said it was expiring at the same time as the 2nd inning XP path. Maybe one of ours glitched.

Last MP program ended when WC ended. Which, as this one, was when the current Ranked ends.
I think you may be confused as even though the last MP program lasted until WC was over; it didn't count any stats during WC because of all the issues with the first WC.
MP programs should end when the current Ranked ends.
-
@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN Nope I'm not confused because I know what timers are and how they work. And my 2nd inning XP path timer and my MP timer were the same. So both said they ended on Friday at 12 Pacific when inning 3 launched.
It is very possible this was a visual bug and stats would have still counted but I wasn't about to take that risk.
-
Went 6-0 then went 7-0 in final and got second to a guy I think lost a ton before weekend classic because he’s 13-1? But only scored 70 runs. I got 72 runs in 7 games so I’m not sure how in 7 more games you win all of them yet score way less runs.
-
@Dinger_Dan19_PSN You pitch better.
-
@trfatboy22_MLBTS I’m a good pitcher and I needed atleast 5 runs every game to win. So if that’s the skill gap I’m playing at and you play 14 games, how do you not have over or around 100 runs.
-
@Dinger_Dan19_PSN You can play 14 games and score 14 runs and win every one. Averaging 5 runs a game seems pretty reasonable.
-
@trfatboy22_MLBTS
bro what so in the same skill division he plays 14 games of pitcher duels? I play 7 slug offs in a row? We are supposed to have similar opponents of skill in the same rank. That doesn’t make sense and is also not logical.
-
@Dinger_Dan19_PSN Him averaging 5 runs a game is not a pitchers duel lmao. Limiting your opponent to under 5 runs is not that difficult. I'm terrible and can do it when my opponent is my skill level.
Edit: On top of that pretty weird for you to have slug offs when "hitting is terrible" "Perfect-perfects are always lineouts" and "exit velocity is nerfed" as everyone says on this forum. Almost like all of that is made up and baseball just has different results in different games.
-
@trfatboy22_MLBTS 72/7 is 10 and change. 70/14 is 5. You play 14 games on HOF and tell me how you win that many games in a row with a pitchers duels. And hitting isn’t that bad champ, just put the dot on the ball more than him and you’ll hit the ball hard a lot. Also my opponents average 6 to 4 runs a game. So how is a guy who averages 5 winning that much. I’m not on GOAT, it would make sense there.
-
@Dinger_Dan19_PSN That's exactly what I said. He averaged 5 runs a game. That is NOT a pitchers duel. He just played regular games of baseball and pitched better than you. It's truly that simple.
I am also aware hitting isn't bad. I was being sarcastic because half the people on this forum complain about it when so many of the games are just who hits the most Homers as you describe. So I just think its funny, but yes that is a different point.
The main point here is 5 runs a game is not a pitchers duel, its just a normal baseball game.
-
@trfatboy22_MLBTS Bro this is MLB the Show not IRL baseball. People rank in this game 5 runs or less is a pitchers duel. And I’m slow it down one last time. Me and him are same division. I need 4-6 runs for a win consistently and I pitch very good in most or all games. I can hit so I scored 10ish average. The reason this dude is fishy smelling is because how do I need all that offense and good pitching but he needs only 5 runs?! I am saying who is he playing? I need again 4-6 runs to win while he averaged 5. It’s strange he won as much as he did at this division with that average. But nah just call BS on it
whatever bro.
