Look. I know it wasn't FROM you. The point is that you and others had ample opportunity to bash that quote from last year like you're bashing me this year.
And consider this. I, along with many others, missed out on god-level cards last year like 99 Rollins. But this year you're worried about those poor late starters getting a 79 [censored] Allen that goes to an 85.
Again, the hypocrisy is truly astounding.
Just a couple of points.

Just because I, or others did not respond to a post last year is not automatically hypocrisy. It is possible, at least for me, that I did not see the post or that it came from a source that I decided was not worthy of my response.

I am not worried about anybody honestly. I don't care whether someone gets these cards or not, but I can honestly think of no good reason to deny them that opportunity.

Throw them in the current or the next TA exchange and the problem is solved.

I started late last year and missed out on tons of good cards (like 99 Rollins for example).I never complained because I knew it was my fault for starting late.
Umm they literally gave rewind rewards in the program last year when all cards were open again. Soooo you didnt miss out on anything.

Totally untrue. If you do the offline content you must use many different cards from many different teams.

I hope they start giving old inning "boss" reward cards that are UNSELLABLE starting inning 4 and see how many of you complain. I mean it would just be for those who missed the first 3 innings, right? The complaining would be epic.

Dude nobody is saying SDS is benevolent. The point is why do you care? You understand the cornerstones were never a 2 card pack. So under your logic they shouldn't put it in there, just give us the one card? How is this hurting you? By complaining you're indicating it somehow affects you negatively or you're being screwed out of a better reward which just isn't the case. For your own sanity let it go....
And no....nobody would complain about the EXTRA Dupe in a boss pack if you still received the new boss. It would be

People play at different speeds and different levels of commitment. I’m totally cool with letting noobs or casuals catch up. All good man!

Yeah in January! Which is exactly what they should have done here. The late starters could get these cornerstone cards in January.

Pretty sure they alluded to it on stream that the cornerstone cards aren’t meant to be meta and are more for the casual “theme team” crowd. Would seem silly to make people wait until January to get those.
Maybe I understand your point if they were offering highly competitive cards that meant the grinders were losing a competitive advantage.
Does seeing the x2 in the corner trigger you that much lol?
