Hi SDS . Just asking about the recent storylines added 9th May .

Been working threw the 3 latest storylines have completed all but one moment . You have to get an assist out at 1st and it's locked to a showtime quick event (even though "showtime" is set to off in the options) . The first bit's easy but I am no good and not quick enough to push the 5 button sequence to get the out (I assume it's always random and not always the same button sequence) . Are you able to make this moment easier like you did in the first set of storylines by removing the need to do the "swim" showtime at home plate .
Is anyone else struggling with this moment ?

I usually get them done after a few attempts but I am absolutely not a fan of the quicktime events.

it throws me off when they break into different gameplay, luckily I haven't had any issues with them but it's a pretty weird concept.

If you are talking about the Judy Johnson moment yes. This moment is a gigantic PITA. Why make it so difficult? The game is supposed to be fun.
