Online Pitching
-
I absolutely have no idea how to pitch online. Everything I throw in the zone, no matter where it is, gets demolished. I throw balls on purpose, sometimes those even get hit 6 miles. Completely clueless. Tried everything. One thing I do notice is even when you spot one perfect it still misses as a very hittable pitch, must be an online thing. I don't know.

Cbrev has a good video on how to pitch and create a tunnel, you can find it on YouTube

Doesn’t matter because there are so many glitches and bs going on with this game right now even if you hit ur pinpoint perfect the ball might zip across the screen. It’s all a mess. Sorry for the ridiculous reply

First of all, it depends … what pitcher are you using? What mode? What difficulty?
Everything below all-star … is pretty offensive-orientated.
Therefore the biggest advice is: Master your input. The more perfect input you have the better you do. That will make you have more success in the first place. Go to custom practice or master your skill in the offline modes. Get awesome at it
Well, the second: Try to avoid the middle of the strike zone. Aim to the corners, mix pitches and speeds.
Third: Usually high velocity guys do better for you on lower difficulties. -
Use starter that have high BB/9, control and clutch. Add in one or more fastballs with movement,a breaking ball and an offspeed pitch. And learn how to tunnel.
Mastering your input definitely adds a lot to it.

You can add high K/9 because this and H/9 shrink the opponent PCI.
Then you have to find out if your opponent is a free swinger or a taker. The first pitch of the game always makes me anxious!
I’d say don’t aim too much at the corners, people expect it. Aim for inside/outside edge, but at the top and bottom of middle quadrant; harder for PCI slammers to connect.
After that it’s a mind game. If he swings at curves in the dirt or sliders way inside, pummel him with it and drop something else in there if he starts hitting foul balls.
The one that never fails (in lower levels): if you get a lead with bloop hits or some fluke, watch him unravel and swing at everything so take advantage.

Thanks for the tips. I guess I just really didn't understand the whole pinpoint pitching aspect, which really changes my approach. I need to get better at pitching because I suck as a hitter.
