Kontrol Freeks/Precision Rings

How many of you have used these things? I've used Kontrol Freeks with mixed results. I feel like the added height is more for comfort than actually helping with anything.
I tried the precision rings this year and those are terrible. I tried three different ones and one of them tore in half after I was switching it out. They really hinder my fielding too. Not sure what they are really supposed to help with as I noticed they hurt more than helped.
Any thoughts for those with positive reviews? -

I use a green ring on the left thumb and it works. I use the Kontrol Freaks too and I cannot play games without them anymore. One thing someone mention here a few weeks ago was that there is a way to set up two controllers to the same user and it will allow you to seamless put one down and pick up the other without pausing or anything that you might want to try. I tried it for a while but realized i didn't need it. Also I suck at this game and never win so take that for what it is.
