I have been getting way more CSs since Update 10. Elly, Beltran, and Rickey getting good jumps, off-speed pitches, and full leg kicks from average or below average catcher arms. Anybody else seeing a difference since last patch?

I never got thrown out at 2nd with Victor Scott II, but after that update I was thrown out twice on that day. But I have been stealing successfully since then.

@Dolenz_PSN I think that day was rough for me, but today I was more successful. I don't know. That was also when I got back from my latest vacation and maybe I just suck now. My timing was definitely off when I came back and maybe my jumps were not as good as well. Thanks for the response.

I have noticed I’ve been gunned down more stealing since the last update even with guys like Elly and Trea. Sometimes it’s because of a terribly delayed jump but otherwise it does feel like some was “tweaked” during the last update.

Guessing they could tell SBs were a bit too easy. With the nerfed hitting it’s the only viable way to stay out of double plays and reliably score runs. If they fixed hitting and turned down CPU super dotting and dolphin dives SBs wouldn’t be such a necessity.

Bottom line stealing is still pretty easy just not as easy as it was a couple of weeks ago.

You'll have to start taking your vacations in the off-season.

My success is the same but the plays seem closer than it used to be. I feel like they also tuned the pickoff moves. Since the begining I dont even pay attention but last night I got picked twice. They were bad baserunners but never happend before. They were also really close on a couple of moves at second with DeLaCruz and PCA.

@MarioMendoza935_XBL I kind of wish I didn't go on last week's vacation. I went to play in the WSOP in Tunica, Mississippi. That was my worst professional series poker tournaments I had. That is regarding the cards I was dealt, but the rest of the vacation was nice though.

@mubby_33_PSN Thanks for confirming that I'm not going crazy and that there probably was a little tweak in the system.

I'm seeing several things. A slight increase in caught stealing, a big increase in throwing errors, bobbled balls, and wild pitches, and a slight increase in CPU hitting. Nothing ridiculous or game changing though a ridiculous string of 3 throwing errors on one play cost me a conquest game lol

    @Ledfoot_19_PSN

Yeah the cpu wild pitches is crazy. The game is head scratching this year. Almost like they tried too hard to randomize outcomes and it’s now turned into a circus that resembles the game play of the 6-7 year olds I help coach.

I can still steal with P5 Lindor easily; no difference here.

Not noticing any trouble in stealing myself. There was a dirty fake out trick from 1B on pickoff early game. He would act like drop the ball to mess up my run down. Lol! Other than that my numbers are solid.
    Lindor 89-6
Jeter 126-46 better now that 71 speed P5
    Mantle 102-6
    Dominguez 144-2
    Egg Hunt Jazz 23-3
Durant 206-3 my bench guy now to sub in for Judge or Williams DH if need late game steal.

@MrNintendo_MLBTS a tip for less step off pick attempts is to wait until pitcher set before taking lead and tapping L2 for auto steal. If take lead before they set they seem more inclined to try pickoff, which gets you caught in rundown.

@MrNintendo_MLBTS I just bait them for a pickoff and go on the next pitch. I’d have to tabulate, but I’m sure I’m about >90%

For what it's worth I've noticed the same thing. Been picked off more over the last week than the rest of season combined

I think they made the steal number mean more, which is probably good. Up until now I've been stealing 2nd and 3rd with anyone 79 speed or more with relative ease. Now I'm noticing guys with mediocre or low steal numbers are getting worse jumps and thrown out more, even guys with 90+ speed.
