SDS I'm Furious ...

Message for SDS although they probably won't read it . I'm in the UK and I'm furious with SDS . I appreciate you need to sometimes take the game offline for maintenance but we are not all American and so not all still in bed when you do this . I had got to the mini season world championship and was on the 2nd game of 5 already with one win and 3-0 up in the second game . SDS without any warning just disconnected me mid game . We are not all Goat players and I have tried very hard to get to mini season final . If SDS is going to take game down for updates etc they should put a message in the game stating what day and time so people can make sure they are not in a critical game .

This same thing happened to me when I was playing Rounders 24. I was so furious with Great Britain for catering to the majority of their player base and not their former colonists. This is exactly why empires fail.

Sometimes it will say on the home screen. Sometimes it doesn't. They almost always do it at the same time. I believe it is between 4AM and 5AM on the west coast of the US.

Thanks so much you guys . I can see now where to look for future updates etc . I'm 56 yrs old and as I say no "Goat" player . I also should check in more often with theshow.com . Bad news was when I re-entered the game I had been penalised for quitting and the championship was 1-1 out of 5 . Good news though I was able to win the next 2 games to go 3-1 and win the title . So have calmed down now . Will watch at 7pm UK time to the live stream update and see what's going to be new for the weekend .

An update is typically announced between 8 pm and 11 pm eastern time that it will occur at either 6 am or 7 am eastern time the next morning. It appears on the website and in the app while they also tweet about it. I don’t know what the eastern time conversion for you (6 am eastern would I believe be 11 am in London) but if you’re going to be playing in the 6 am to 7 am eastern time frame, you should just try to check Twitter by ~5 am eastern time (so ~10 am in London) and you’ll know if there’ll be an update that day (and what time it is). I don’t actually use Twitter myself but I just google “mlbtheshow twitter” and it shows their latest tweets.
Note that the time 4 am that they stated is 4 am Pacific time, not eastern. 4 am Pacific time = 7 am Eastern = noon London, I believe.

Thanks for your reply . I'm 56 born in UK . Been Baseball fan since age 10 . Unfortunately I'm not very "Tech" savvy don't do twitter or companion app but now I know I can find the info on theshow.com website that's fine . And yeah not sure of all time differences but the update will always take place at noon UK and the live stream update on YouTube is always 7pm UK with new content going live 8pm UK .
