A few observations for the whiners

it's hard to practice BP on legend offline when even those timing windows and pitch speeds are slower than All Star online. The complete randomness of the pitch speeds is what's causing the issues. One fastball can come in on a timing window of 100mph one pitch of the at bat and two pitches later it can come in at a 85 mph timing window. And both can say 94 mph on the screen. It's completely random and if that was their way of trying to make the game harder for everyone, they've done a terrible job at trying to implement it. I don't think people are whining just to whine, there's very clear evidence of a lot of the issues in the game. I've played very little RS in fear of losing to some BS randomness. Only played 14 games so far and I'm 14-0 so I'm not complaining to just complain. I think we all just want a consistent game and not so much randomness in an online skill based game.
First thing, the only people I see complaining are players with less than eye popping numbers. If you’re name was say cardinalbird5 or Koogs or any of the other elite tier players then I might give a second thought but it’s not. I have not had these issues that a select few are complaining about. I’m hitting like .400 online and fielding just fine. Yes I’ve committed a few more errors than say last year and that’s because I wasn’t locking onto fly balls that were 30 ft from me once they were about to hit the ground. Then I realized that that was the point of this year was to penalize you for over correcting on routes and they said as much in their live streams leading up to the launch. Once I got used to not being babied on fly balls I was able to make the needed adjustments and actually haven’t had any issues since. And to your point about the pitch speeds online that’s not worth my time. If you believe the pitch speeds on all star are faster online than legend offline you’ve completely lost all credibility. Maybe change your monitor. There is zero comparison between the two. Like I said, I practice on legend offline and hit just fine online.

I'm 14-0 in RS and batting over .420 or .430 lol. My fielding % is 1.000% so I have no complaints there. I don't know what eye popping numbers are to you but I'd say that's a pretty good batting average and fielding percentage. That's what's wrong with this community, they think the only opinions that have value are the players who can reach 1200 in RS. Like I said in the first comment, I'm not complaining just to complain. The timing window on Legend offline is waaaay better than All Star online and that's just a fact. To be able to play MTO on Legend+ difficulty hitting and be good timing on most swings but late or early on more than half the swings online on All Star difficulty isn't any issue other than something in the game.

I don’t post much on these community forums but felt the inclination to based on a few observations I’ve made over the past few days. First, if you can’t hit the fastball then maybe you should be practicing on a high difficulty level prior to taking your game online. I personally use the practice mode on legend difficulty against Gerrit Cole, who imho is the nastiest pitcher in this game. He has good velocity as well as filthy breaking stuff. If you can consistently hit him then you can hit anybody. Second, fielding is really important. If you want to be successful at this aspect of the game only use their primary position, especially in the infield. If you use your players at secondary positions then you’re asking to have problems fielding. Also if you choose to stack your lineup with big boppers than you will inevitably sacrifice defense as most of these players are terrible on the defensive side of the game. Third, pitching is much more of an issue this year. All I can say on this aspect is that if you want to be a consistent pitcher use pure analog. If you use any other mode you are sacrificing vital aspects of user controllability. This mode will allow you to pinpoint exactly where you want to place each pitch. Obviously, the pitchers attributes will play a big part in how easy it is to accurately place each pitch so keep that in mind when you choose pitchers as well. Hope this helps out
If you think Gerrit Cole is the nastiest pitcher in the game you haven’t faced Corey kluber

I call troll lol nice try Ramone.

He lost me right there when he said Cole is the nastiest pitcher in the game. Last time I checked, Cole didn't have a sinker. Sinkerballers are the nastiest pitchers in this game.

All you have to do to know there are issues in the game is to watch a few innings of the player’s tournament.
Evidently, it is cooler to call average gamers who want to enjoy playing “whiners”.

Cole has a mediocre 2 seam too, so even if you wanted something with sink there isn’t much
-
Cole seems mediocre. There are not many nasty LS pitchers.
-
Cole is the nastiest pitcher in the game lmao try facing kluber on HOF or Legend and lose a game cause trout doesnt lock onto a ball and then cant pick it up until you circle around it 3 times. On top of that watching early/ok get hit for homers but your perfect/perfect flyball with a 100+ power player gets caught at the track. I love the show was 959 last season. Made WS series every season since it started in 17 and was WS in 16. The game play right now is the worst its ever been. Id rather play 18 than this game right now. Ive played over 210 RS games so its not a small sample size at all
-
So camping underneath a fly ball with a guy like Trout and bouncing off his chest and then he takes 5 laps around the ball until another fielder picks it up, you consider this taking a bad route? And the people who are mainly complaining are competitive players in hof and legend difficulty. Since you also value Koogs status higher than any of us here, go watch some of his videos and see what he has to say about these issues. He’s always bashing the game for the defense and inaccurate hitting at times.

I googled "being out of touch", and it showed me this thread.
