Small ball Egg Hunt mission help?

@LadySwampfox_XBL I believe you have to have a runner on 2nd, bunt to advance them to 3rd and get thrown out at first.

I just tried sac bunting with a runner on first, and it said “score that play: sacrifice 1-3” and it STILL didn’t give me the task completion

@LadySwampfox_XBL that’s so weird; I did it first day and didn’t even bother with height (didn’t know at that time, nor do I remember who I used).

It’s silly but worth a shot; can you easily clear your cache on Xbox? Takes 2 minutes on PS5.

@LadySwampfox_XBL unless you’re somehow doing a drag bunt like someone mentioned. Try doing it one time like how I hit with no stick movement and button only and see if that gets it. Does drag bunting involve the stick I assume?

Check the box score after,if it says Sac under the xbh/RBI list then you can check the program. Make sure you pause to check after the next batter is in the box.
I had an issue at first with the play not being scored a sacrifice,but it worked on I think my 4th attempt.

I DID IT! I singled with Ozzie Smith, stole second, pinch hit Altuve, bunted without moving the stick. Smith advanced to 3rd and it was recorded as a 5-3 SH. I completed the Small Ball objective.

Try it in a different mini-seasons. I kept doing it in the Sabbathia one, and it never would count. I finally tried the other mini-season and it counted. It's ludicrous. (I don't think the height of the player had anything to do with it, but I didn't really pay attention to that).
