Sac bunted to advance a runner, and the announcers were praising the small ball strategy (they said the two words, verbatim) but game still didn’t count it.
God I wish there was an in game tracker for this.

@LadySwampfox_XBL only other thing is try the other mini season like another said on here. That worked for them. If you’ve already tried that, then dang wish have just made it a sac fly.

I also believe you have to hold the bunt button before the pitch is delivered, don’t try to drag bunt, thats not a sacrifice, that’s an attempt to get on.

It’s a sac bunt, meaning the runner moves over and the batter gets out. I would recommend just putting together a short lineup, do it in the regular mini season and you’ll be good to go!
Does the runner or the batter have to be shorter than 6’?

@LadySwampfox_XBL not for me, had Jeter and Boggs, both over six foot. You should buy that card, bring in off bench first chance with runner on first. And try holding the button down about midway through pitch. He might bring you luck and can sell back. I would buy it for you if could. Lol

@MrNintendo_MLBTS also, you did finish the game right after hearing announcers? Quitting the game could cancel it out possibly. I completed the game.

@LadySwampfox_XBL I believe you have to have a runner on 2nd, bunt to advance them to 3rd and get thrown out at first.

@LadySwampfox_XBL that’s so weird; I did it first day and didn’t even bother with height (didn’t know at that time, nor do I remember who I used).
It’s silly but worth a shot; can you easily clear your cache on Xbox? Takes 2 minutes on PS5.

@LadySwampfox_XBL unless you’re somehow doing a drag bunt like someone mentioned. Try doing it one time like how I hit with no stick movement and button only and see if that gets it. Does drag bunting involve the stick I assume?

I had an issue at first with the play not being scored a sacrifice,but it worked on I think my 4th attempt.I DID IT! I singled with Ozzie Smith, stole second, pinch hit Altuve, bunted without moving the stick. Smith advanced to 3rd and it was recorded as a 5-3 SH. I completed the Small Ball objective.

Try it in a different mini-seasons. I kept doing it in the Sabbathia one, and it never would count. I finally tried the other mini-season and it counted. It's ludicrous. (I don't think the height of the player had anything to do with it, but I didn't really pay attention to that).
