Prime vs SS?

Sorry, I didn’t see very many of the preview streams when they introduced new features of TS20, so I’m sure this was answered months ago. But what is the difference between a Prime card a SS? Do Prime cards represent stats from their best single season whereas SS cards are a conglomerate of their best stats from their whole career? And I know that SS really just means “best version of the card we’ll release,” but there’s no way a player could get a Prime AND Sig Series, right?

I like uniformity, so I just wish all of the 100
XP level cards were either awards or SS or Prime.

Also ... anybody taken Minnie yet? I feel like he’s going to be the Brooks Robinson of 20. I’m a Sox fan, obv, so I gotta take him first. I’m at Bronze 95 so I’ll probably get him this weekend. Woohoo!
