@jaychvz_XBL Current captains are all the Jolt Series. The next set of captains will be Color Storm Series. It's just a random theme they chose for the card art. Nothing directly related to the players themselves.
-
Cool, thanks
-
@TheDaveyG_NSW I don't think the Colors Storm series will be Captains. If they were going to do two team captains, they would do a hitter and a pitcher. If they were to do that, they wouldn't have put up Senga to be voted on for the Mets Colors Storm as the John Franco is the Mets' Jolt series card.
-
@dap1234567890_PSN That would make too much sense, so they won’t do it. Looks like captains won’t be a thing this year, so we get to face the same lineups all year.
-
Is the next vote up yet?
-
@Dinger_Dan19_PSN No, looks like one team each day this week through Friday (so 5 teams) and I think it starts around noon PT.
-
@dap1234567890_PSN I’m lost so when’s it dropping? I thought it’d be Friday.
-
@Dinger_Dan19_PSN Voting is every day this week. It appears to start at 10am PT. The cards themselved drop with the new TA in late May.

Nationals today. Surprised the switch hitting catcher isn’t winning.

Yeah me as well considering the switch hitting catcher is way better than Josh Bell whose always on different teams every year
-
Right now the switch hitting catcher, Keibert Ruiz, is winning with a little over 3 hours left. Its a close race between him and Josh Bell. Right now, I see Ruiz with 46.94% and Bell with 44.73%.
-
@dap1234567890_PSN Bell does have a good swing, but I wonder if people realize Ruiz is a switch hitter too.
-
@GoozeFn_PSN Each have something good and something that goes against them.
Ruiz has the switch-hitting in a position with a number of switch hitters, but many people don't use a bench spot for a second catcher and there are plenty of catchers people will choose over Ruiz.
Bell has a good swing and lots of power, but power hitting 1B are everywhere and plenty of better choices there as well.
Finnegan could help many bullpens, but people tend to not think about the 'pen when we can get a more flashy hitter.
Personally, I think Finnegan may be the better choice for this team, but there is no chance he will be chosen. I probably would go with Ruiz over Bell just for the switch-hitting catcher.
-
@dap1234567890_PSN The problem with Fennigan is his pitch mix. That’s a non starter for me unless they give him pitches he doesn’t have and I wouldn’t count on that.
-
@GoozeFn_PSN I didn't look at pitch mix. I don't know how many of these cards I am going to actually play with other than to get the PXP or stat missions done. Pitcher missions are a lot easier to get done that the hitter missions and that is another reason I'd rather see a pitcher.
-
@dap1234567890_PSN It doesn’t seem that much easier to me for pitchers anymore. That is a good point though. These guys probably be taking anyone’s spot in my lineup. Catcher feels like the weakest position now though.
