Tournament win counts as a loss ?!??

Someone please explain to me how you can play a online PlayStation tournament. The DD All-Star cup you win a game in game but then the record shows it's a 0-0 loss even though my stat and game history shows a win and I play to win online shows a loss and I lost a tournament. I'm very baffled and confused
