Desperate for help with my franchises

Okay so each year I like to play real franchises but can never figure out if I want to keep the players real or make trades. I sometimes make house rules and try not to cheese the CPU for good deals.
I always play 2 franchises but never three. So far I am playing:
Angels (9-8)
Reds (8-7)
Pirates (8-8)I have this weird obsession with Fraley and TJ Freidl so I got Fraley to the Pirates (he fits, and got rid of Suwinski in the process)
Angels
- Friedl to the Angles to platoon with Adell
- Got Jose Leclerc (feel guilty because it broke my rule; cant trade for a guy that JUST went to a new team, A's)
- Also picked up Santiago Espinal (another Reds player) he compliments the Angels well.
Pirates
- Fraley platoons in RF with Pham
- Got Jorge Polanco for SS, sent out Isiah Kiner-Falefa ( Ive never vibed with him, odd because I have some Hawaiaan in me lol.
- Got Spencer Steer from Reds to platoon at 1B with Spencer Horwitz
- Finally, to make things fair, gave someone a deal and shipped out Joey Bart for an old Pirate Stallings)
Reds
- As you may have guessed I play the Reds striaght up because I really like about 6 or 7 guiys on their team.
Im just gonna brain dump this:

Sometimes I dont like doing too many trades. Ive always wondered if I should play one team with trades and another straight up? Or maybe only trade for a good relief pitcher and thats it?

The Angles are a lock, I want to play them. Big Adell fan too. Sharing time in CF sounds like it could be an issue. Maybe when Trout gets injured it will be easier. I moved his durability to 70 so he needs off days lol.

The Pirates organization is a dumpster fire, not sure I want to be a part of that. Maybe I should give Kiner-Falefa another chance? I like Hayes and Triolo too! With this option I have some good platoons and get Skenes!

The Reds sound like an easy choice because then it would solve multiple issues. I get to play all the Reds players I like, polay them striaght up, and play the Angels. But dont laugh, playing two "red" teams?

Sounds like you're a Reds fan? That should solve it. Play as the Reds, that's who I play with. I try to play as realistic as possible. In my franchise we're 21-18 currently. Only difference I don't platoon Friedl, as he hits lefties better for contact, and righties better for power, so I play him everyday unless he needs a breather.
