Chipper's world series card is an absolute joke. Not a single world series reward has actually been worth getting this year

@IaMbAtMaN7777777_PSN I’m hopeful they’ll come out later with another one. The cards can’t be that high overall right now

Remember the power creep? You cannot give out a chipper with 125 ContactL AND 80 ContactR AND Clutch80 AND this fielding AND this speed.
That is the beauty of the power creep. Way to compromise putting him in (perfect leadoff platoon bat)

I totally get the power creep. But take some stats off lefties. Make him useable. He’s nothing more than a platoon bat

@IaMbAtMaN7777777_PSN … but a pretty awesome one 🙂 … If they built every card the same (say „no weakness“), it would be very boring too

These cards wouldn’t be so terrible if we had a vs LHP and a vs RHP option for lineups once the starters are declared

That would a) not make anything better because b) most people would always start an opener. Get accustomed to the power creep, we haven‘t had one in a couple of years 🙂

@YOSHI24_XBL Not everything in the game needs to be catered to H2H. The cpu will start the pitcher that it’s programmed to start.

On the H2H side you’d just have to code it where if you start a RHP , you can only call in RH starters from your pen and lay a 3 inning minimum on the SP. . Then it would be no different than it is currently. It really wouldn’t be that hard.

@urbanphilosophy_XBL There is no rule in the rule book that does prevent you from bringing in any reliever you want (3-batter-rule). Therefore it is and will not in the game. It is really that simple

you cannot do it the way they (purposedly) built the cards … and it is awesome. MLBTS was more than boring the last two years with having the meta cards in the game maxed out and way too early. It is simply boring only having to face the same cards way to early. Wanna play Chipper? Go and live with some disadvantages … perfect imo
