We need a flash sale

I’m not one to normally complain about the market, lefty relievers and the usability of legend pitchers is more my thing. I just feel like I’m grinding to nowhere with the love series collection. I don’t know if I’m the only one who feels this way, but it seems like every time I grind a make 20k stubs all the cards go up like 40k on the market.

I came to post the exact same thing. Market inflation is a problem for me right now.
I have the stubs to get either Judge or Witt but I really don’t want to overpay.

They usually don’t do a stub sale before July because that’s their last push to milk money from the players before they bolt for football games in August.

They usually have one memorial day weekend wish a flash sale occurring prior to.

Flash sale would be nice but if a stub sale comes 1st it's all a wash

Wouldn’t a flash sale drive up the price? It would create more stubs in the game and create more demand for higher end cards without increasing the supply of those cards.
I’m not an MLB Show economist but as a general economic theory increasing the amount of money in the market increases prices for goods.

Flash sale removes stubs from the market(buying packs) and increases card supply. Prices go down
Stub sales adds stubs to the market and inflates everything -

Card prices will go down temporarily as people compete to get their card sold given the increase supply flooding the market. Not too long afterward prices will rebound back to normal levels (even without a stub sale).
A stub sale following a flash sale will push prices even higher than current.

Thank you for the clarification. I assumed flash sale means stub sale. Not sales on packs.

Agree!!! We need a flash sale! Is it me or do they feel rarer this year than they have in years past?

I still think that Shohei and these cards should be high and tough to get, but I think market has inflated past were it’s feasible for a normal player who grinds everything out to be obtained. A flash sale will bring the prices down to a reasonable rate.
