Drastic frame rate issue all of a sudden

I know there's been issues in the past with Frame rate, but today Im seeing it everywhere within The Show, not just in games with certain players (Manny, Elly, Tatis, long hair, ect..).
Ive had complete PS5 freezes where I had to unplug and in game Ive had to inch along in any game mode.
Tested some other games in case it was a PS5 issue, but everything else is just fine.
Anybody else see a drastic change overnight or in the past that had a solution? -

Anybody else see a drastic change overnight or in the past that had a solution?It's not a console issue; it's a game engine that has been used since 2007, with too many layers built on top, and is starting to crack.

Interesting. What mode are you playing? I saw it once in franchise but it was raining and I thought the rain might have been the culprit. I haven't seen it again since that one time.

@sullivanspring_MLBTS Diamond Dynasty. Anything in there too. Mini Season, Conquest, Moments.
I believe I got it all fixed though (and some other underlying issues I was seeing)
I performed a "Clear System Software Cache" on my PS5 and now the game is running smoother than ever. -
@JCoppock5_PSN Thanks for posting this follow-up. I had the same exact thing occur after the latest update and was worried I’d have to wait for a future update, but clear system cache seemed to work for me as well

I still have frame rate issues at some parks with some runners on base.

Try playing on Switch 🤪 in some stadiums it’s like playing a PowerPoint slide show.

I just played a spring training game in franchise mode, first game after update 8 and experienced consistent choppiness for the first time ever playing The Show. Stadium was date palm field or baseball city (whichever is the non-default spring training stadium).
On PS5.

Started getting stutter with the pitch meter using analog Friday I think. Time to open it up and clean it; been 2 years. That and clear cache should help.

I had a bad framerate drop offline on 2 Roku tv but I tried using an old monitor I had and it's been perfect ever since, I am not a tech guy I could not tell you why the monitor is better but it is for some reason.
