Live Series Diamond Market this weekend
-
People seem to be underestimating the amount of guaranteed live series diamonds that will be pulled from the weekend league. I’d bet on a small dip over the weekend and a pretty quick recovery by Monday for at least the 88+.
-
I’m an offline player and planning to save stubs until Weekend Classic as I’m betting the diamond prices will drop. I sold diamonds like Sale and Lindor now as I’m not planning to do their team collection anytime soon.
-
It looks like prices are holding steady, but I got to think there will be a lot of packs opened this weekend which would drop live series diamonds down a little. My guess is Sunday evening will be the peak to see where it goes.

So it’s interesting that prices are still high on alot of players heading into Monday. Trout was pushing 200k when I looked last night. I bought Ohtani on Saturday when he got down to 390k but now he’s back up. Holding on to buy Mookie incase there’s an another dip.

Looks like all the big cards stayed or increased while all the 85s and under are basically at quick sell. Bummed because I still need 7 of the high diamonds. Oh well.

Yeah same here. I thought I might be able to get a couple of the 7 or 8 guys I have left to complete live series, but not looking good!

Demand is very high for the 7 gatekeepers. The buy price is within 10% of the sell price on all of them. Perhaps flippers are trying to buy stock hoping for the sell to go even higher, but it is more likely that the buy orders are coming from people trying to complete the collection. A big surge of supply (flash sale) or a stubs sale would bring down the prices, but it is a big early in the cycle for either of those.

A stub sale would INCREASE their prices.

Maybe the prices will drop a little when weekend classic is over and people in the top 10 start opening packs

Most diamonds dropped on 4/12 and the vast majority of them recovered and a select few increased.
