your level is based on that of your opponent. He was probably up to 1000 when he played you

@TheFightingKoala_PSN No. If you start at say 990, win 1 game, you are probably over 1000. That is when Goat kicks in … I am not saying, that this is good.
Imo this mode should work like this: You only play people in your division, no matter where your current rating is. This determines the difficulty you play on. If you do better, good for you … if you lose levels, bad for you
