Pulled soto and without giving it much thought/comparing

Sold him for 144k. My outfield is already pretty crowded and with backups playing for missions etc and i run a mostly BOS tt. IF i ever end up doing a live collection it will be the AL, etc.
All of these combined im just wondering, what would you have done? Sell now like I did, before value may decrease? Hold him thinking he may actually INCREASE? Use him for a collection?
Curious as this is literally the first time I pulled something that valuable AND I didnt really have a fit that i could see anytime soon.

What teams do you have completed in the AL?

@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN i dont remember who the mets collection reward is, but since theyre NL, i wasnt even thinking of that actually. AL, I know I have the Sox and I believe one more AL east team.
Maybe one or two others complete, but even its just the sox and one other, im almost certain the majority of others are likely in tge 65-75 percent complete neighborhood so I could probably buy all the odds and ends to fo pretty much all of it if im patient about it. Part of why I sold, since that 144k will come in handy for that i guess.

I would say first priority is having fun. If you don’t like Soto IRL or don’t play well with him in game, better off selling for players you like. I pulled and sold Lindor, JRam and Sale recently so I could save up for Shohei (who I just bought yesterday). I’m a Dodgers fan and my main DD team runs Muncy as Captain. The move means I’m happier and having more fun, so all worth it.

Soto is an adventure in RF, but I did rob a HR with him. If I can help it, I DH him!

@DodgerMatt93_NSW gotcha man, thats what i was leaning. So overall if you dont see yourself using a "big pull" card, its usually best to sell sooner rather than later? Usually only loses value?

@TheGoaler_PSN yeah thats the other thing, his fielding didn't look too good. I have bad fielders, but they at least fit my TT and are GREAT hitters. Not just good. He didnt seem to fit.

@SquishySoldier_MLBTS yeah I would say if you don’t plan on using him or plan on completing the team collection so you can use that reward.. I’d sell. The market seems kind of high at the moment too. I was guessing Weekend Classic was going to drop prices as people opened packs but everything has gone up instead.
I just pulled Skenes in a Ballin pack and sold him so I can get Mookie to play 2B. Not too stressed if it wasn’t the optimal play, but we play this game to have fun right

I would have kept him but only because I am trying to complete live series collection and he is one of about 6 of the big dogs I need. But if the collection isn't important to you I think selling makes sense.
