@rageincage007_XBL Holy [censored]; I think he's gone too. Hank Greenberg likely nabbed that spot in their database.

So this means Robin Roberts is still here? Give me back any one of these people and take Roberts in return

This part always sucks. With a new season upon us, we bid farewell to another crop of Legends. Some names are more prominent than others, several have been annual mainstays with even a few being one-and-dones after just debuting last year.

The following players are not available in the offline roster which 99.9% of the time indicates they are no longer in the game...

    Mariano Rivera
    John Smoltz
    Rich Aurilia
    Brian Wilson
    Paul Konerko
    Dante Bichette
    Kevin Youkilis
    Johnny Damon
    Vinny Castilla
    AJ Burnett
    Troy Percival
    Tim Salmon
    Mike Schmidt
    Bret Saberhagen
    Tom Henke
    John Kruk
    Greg Vaughn
    Ron Guidry
    Ken Griffey Sr.
    Ernie Banks
    Fergie Jenkins
    Minnie Miñoso

Aurillia and Kruk only made their Legend debuts just last year. Wow, such a short run!

Is Gwynn still in the game? I haven't seen him so far, but haven't had much opportunity to look.

Yes. He already has a card out.

    Tony Gwynn. Not Chris.

One problem is the bury some of these cards behind live series so the majority dont use them early. Did Kruk ever get a card on pace with the curve last year? Granted that mold of first baseman isnt that popular (Keith hernandez, John Olerud, Mark Grace, and Will Clark not being in the game is extremely sad, but their cards would all be pretty similar and not the power people want from 1B)

Kruk got a 99 when they dropped the Action Figure Series in early August. Very fun card with a good swing and his mullet looked incredible. You are probably right though. When it comes to this game, people prioritize power and first base is one position where there is an abundance of mashers so a guy like Kruk unfortunately gets lost in the sauce.

The same thing happened a few years back when they added Tino Martinez to the game. One of my favorite players growing up, but probably a guy who never got used since his cards never measured up to the other options at first when it came to power which is a real shame too because Tino had a MONSTER year in 1997 (.296 BA/44 HR/141 RBI) so they absolutely could have justified a juiced card based on that season alone.

His last year in Seattle was great too. Guys that can justify 99s on two teams I feel should be prioritized
