Unable to change audio settings in-game

For some reason, I am unable to change my audio settings in game, as the option doesn't appear. I assume this is a glitch on my end, because it makes absolutely zero sense to remove such a simple QOL function that has been in the games since 2005. Is there a way to undo this glitch so I can actually tinker with my volume in game?
