Play your way

@Easy_Duhz_It_ I am guessing you are not a very good player even remotely. A competitive player would understand this. Especially since events literally give you an 85-87 if you win 10 games before 2 losses, which I am willing to bet you are not good enough to ever do that.
It’s very simple to understand. The term play your way means I can pick whether I want to play BR, ranked, or events to get the rewards on the multiplayer XP path. I can’t. I HAVE to play both BR and events in order to get the 50 pack bundle. Making it like this made is way less effort for SDS.
You are trying to say a company say something doesn’t mean they said it or meant it. You realize a company can get sued for saying something (obviously depending on the severity) and not doing it right? I can give many examples if you need… what do you think false advertising is?
Not quite sure how my skill level pertains to you crying about playing events or BR but hey, whatever helps you lose sleep at night. If you're as skilled as you seem to think you are, playing different online modes and wrecking the competition shouldnt be too big a deal for you though.
Go get that 50 pack, kid. I got faith in ya.

Careful providing him with examples. You can timestamp it and he’ll still get it wrong and won’t admit it. He’ll just say you’re wrong and not provide anything back.
-
Relax with the name calling. I’m trying to have a productive debate which will usually have sides siting where they got their info. I have done that for you and you’re telling me I misunderstood the video on the multiplayer program? Site me something or just stop replying you’re adding nothing of value here.
-
@Easy_Duhz_It_ once again you failed to acknowledge how wrong you are. You stated a company that states something once or twice means nothing.
I can show you that you could not be more wrong. Do you want to see many lawsuits related to companies saying one thing and either not meaning it or just not doing what they said? There are hundreds of cases like this…
So for you to say oh they only said it once it doesn’t matter or twice or in a video… that it doesn’t matter. You are just wrong and a real man with integrity would admit when they are wrong.
But you don’t appear to be a man who can admit when they are wrong.

I am also cheesed off that SDS lied about the “play your way” multiplayer program (because without that 50 bundle it is nowhere near “better” than what it replaced). And it’s not just the BR and Event requirements, but having those player pxp missions without them always being eligible for events pretty much forces us to play ranked with the program cards too.
As for company’s making misleading statements issue, just go watch “Pepsi, Where’s My Jet” documentary.
My guess is SDS realized that no one is playing br and the br goons are sad they have no scrubs to beat up on, so they are trying to force us into that mode again (scummy move, but likely what’s going on).

I thought that was the new motto. The new multiplayer program forces you to not play your way to complete it. I thought the whole point of the multiplayer program was to earn progress doing what you wanted. Guess not. They must need people to play br and events so they put that in the program.
They should’ve just left it how it was with the br program and the event rewards and added the multiplayer program without taking out other things.
I'm so old, I can remember when there was no such thing as a Multiplayer program.
-
@Joeflakes
It's all the same concept - you just happen to be picking and choosing one. -
It’s not the same thing. Nowhere did they say “you can get every card in the how playing your way” im talking about the multiplayer program I have no clue what you’re talking about. You’re just talking to talk at this point

Make sure to watch till the very end where the courts ruled Pepsi did nothing illegal.
-
@SaveFarris I think you missed the point. The claim was absurd on its face (that Pepsi was on the hook for a harrier) and not only did they offer a substantial settlement, but it took a very favorable ruling from a very favorable judge (that Pepsi effectively court shopped to get) for them to get a dismissal (without ever having the execs testify).
No one here is talking about suing SDS, but merely pointing out they effectively lied to their player base on both the “play your way” and “better rewards” aspects of the multiplayer program.

@Joeflakes
It's literally the same thing. You're just choosing specific modes in multiplayer - the same thing could be said (and has been said) about conquest, diamond quest, etc. -
Not sure if it’s even worth a reply but it’s not the same thing. Not sure why you’re having a hard time understanding this. If they said “play your way to earn every card” then I’d expect to be able to do so. But they didn’t say that so I don’t expect it. Conquest, mini seasons, showdown, and DQ are not multiplayer so why would anyone expect to make progress in the multiplayer program through those modes?
-
@Joeflakes
It's the same concept... Literally the same concept. -
@TubaTim90 no it’s not lol? Hahahahah not even close. That’s like saying mlb the show is 50% off and then you try and buy a different game and say hey it’s 50% off… like no bro lol
-
in the time you Karens spent crying in this thread you could have knocked off the 10 runs and 5 hits.
-
@borderpatrollin
No, it’s like saying “i wish I could every card playing one specific multiplayer mode” is the same as saying “I wish I could get every card without playing conquest”. Which… it is.
Like… yeah bro lol -

That’s literally the motto play your way.
It’s weird, ive looked at the main page...ive seen all the live streams and trailers. They dont have this motto posted anywhere. They may have said it once or twice during a livestream alluding to the fact that there were choices to make in RTTS regarding school choice and whether or not you wanted to enter the draft early, upgrading attributes that you wanted to upgrade, and repeatable pxp missions in some DD programs for people who didnt wanna do moments and stuff but thats literally not the motto of the game.
It was literally the explicit reason given in the live stream when announcing a multiplayer program as replacing the BR program, ranked program, and event win rewards. Like the single reason given. The only reason. It is beyond reasonable for people to then complain that they’ve immediately walked back on that sole reason by putting mode-specific missions in order to complete it.
You get the MAIN reward. Thats literally the most important part of the program. If you want the free packs, compromise and do the missions for them. Simple.
Yeah, I interpreted it this way too; play any online mode to get the program rewards.

Yeah these guys just don't seem to get it. I don't feel like playing online right now....that doesn't mean I should get all the packs in the multi-player program by playing conquest instead.
