@Shua2168_MLBTS Johan Oviedo’s scan is brand new as of last year. Scan was added into their database February of 2023. Added into the game last season a little after release.

Only really responding since I’m a Pirates fan. Hair length could be updated since it’s longer now but other than that it’s solid.

@NYC_SourDiesel_PSN thanks! It took some time but I’m so sick of the lack of face scans. How aren’t Tyler Fitzgerald, Tyler holton, Bowden Francis, Jose Soriano in the game yet? I’m pretty sure it’s a wash for us franchise players who want a realistic experience. All they push and update is DD.

@NYC_SourDiesel_PSN apparently there was an update but not a roster update. Still nothing good lol. It’s honestly laughable at this point. Without any new face scans or barely any it’s literally the same game as last year. Just get our roster update! What a joke ! Idk much about this forum and if they even read these but upvote this thing, tag whoever needs to see it. Appreciate the help

@DTC1313_PSN so his scan is 2 years old? all I’m saying is he could use an update. It’s a bit of a reach but it’s 2025. Technology is crazy and we’re playing an old game on next gen. Least they could do is give us better graphics every year . The only thing they do for graphics every year is face scans…. It’s almost the same exact game as last year. Just new rosters and not everyone is a gold glover anymore lol… Gee thanks! Such a minor thing they should’ve fixed years ago but that’s their big update this year! Way to go SDS!

My apologies that i dont pay much attention to someones waist size or the length of their beard while playing so i can't confirm if every nose hair is in the game or not. Post a pic of Justin slaten with a face scan in your game…. I’ll wait. Why does it bother you that we want the players to look real? If this post bothers you , You clearly work for SDS. Do better !!! We don’t care about nose hairs we want Ryan McMahon to look like Ryan McMahon and Nico hoerner to look like Nico hoerner…. Like I said, I’ll wait. Thank you, this dude thinks his Magic the Gathering cards have anything to do with player appearances in Franchise or any other mode. For example Garrett Crochet is wrong in all modes not just in Franchise, haven’t played DD yet nor do I really ever, but pretty sure they don’t just have Garrett Crochet bald with beard in just DD, there’s only one player build and it’s very wrong like a lot of other players.

@MAINELYBOSTON_PSN you get it! He doesn’t realize they aren’t face scanned and it’s so obvious. As long as he has his stupid Dungeon and dragons cards (DD lol) face scans are not that much to ask for….. most of them have already been playing for a couple years. The thing that really doesn’t make sense is most of their batting stances or pitching motions are in the game. How do you have their batting stances but didn’t get the face scan? Why give us Luke bachar or whatever his name is but not Connor norby or Thomas white? Why give us Sean geunther but not Tyler holton or beau brieske? Also it Doesn’t take a lot of research to find out which prospects will debut this year. …seems like they can’t figure it out til 3 years later. The list above is literally guys who have been playing for years or last year that still weren’t added plus all the rookies debuting this season and most have already played. I asked for a few top prospects that probably won’t play this year but the rest should’ve been added before the game was released. SDS ruined baseball like the dodgers did.

No i do get it. I just dont care about face scans. Im not sitting here staring at my screen all day enraged because someones hair isnt long enough or because someone grew a beard since the game came out. Thats some weird [censored]. Such a weird troll, get a life. Nobody said anything about equipment or anything else, if a dude is white bald with a beard, why make him long hair no facial hair and black? Nobody is trying to count nose hairs or whatever other hyperbolic nonsense you keep spewing, everyone that plays the game wants realism except apparently you where you would be happy having everyone look like the Simpsons or how about making the players look like NFL Blitz. Lastly, we’re talking about well established players for the most part not some Single A dude not ticketed for MLB until 2029, we expect superstars and our Franchise, not DD, players look realistic and reflect actual updates not just keep running back same player builds for three years straight.

The players without face scans have too many bugs. Esp the pitchers. Everyone throws a changeup at 84 mph, no more, no less. Most of Their fastballs don’t reach higher than 97. Sinkers max out at 92… Etc… every pitch has something wrong with it. Also none of their pitch selection is correct neither is any of the position players attributes. Sometimes they don’t pronounce their names and that’s annoying. But yea most of all they just look cheesy, like something out of their 2012 game. They are constantly doing “drops” and updating different programs and seasons for DD so why is it too much to ask for MLB players to be in the ONLY MLB game if u even wanna call it that anymore. If you don’t care about graphics that’s all good dude. Idk why it bothers u so much that we want a realistic baseball game with the mlb players in the game…. They have all their batting stances but couldn’t get their face scan? Makes sense. Mostly it’s annoying bc it’s the same game every year and the face scans are the only thing they upgrade with the graphics. If you’re ok with the same game year after year after year that’s cool but most people aren’t ok with a recycled game with minimal effort put into the game after waiting for a season. Why did u even comment if you don’t care about the graphics getting better? Keep your opinion to yourself. We don’t really care what you think. I bet you do work for SDS and feel some type of way bc yall thought u released a banger lol. Do better !!!!

SDS when you guys finally do something with the rosters can you add some more players. The players without face scans aren’t usable. Hardest sinker is 92, all change ups are 84 no more no less, fast [censored] max out at 96, curveballs max out at 80, sliders at 86, etc…. If the player doesn’t have a face scans there is too many bugs and it’s just not realistic. I don’t want Ben Joyce throwing sinkers at 90 and 4 seamers at 95 when he’s actually a flame thrower. Add some new players!!!!!
