@yankblan_PSN appreciate the suggestion. I’ve never uninstalled and reinstalled a game before on my PS5.
Would I select “delete”? Is that the same thing? Then just download again from my library?

Yes; just to be sure if you have local saves files, export them to a USB as a precaution and/or upload to cloud (PS+)
After that, delete game, associated save files, take the opportunity to do the same with other games you don’t play anymore or plan to play for a while.
Once done, you can search YT “PS5 clear cache”, plenty of videos. You basically start the PS5 in safe mode and go from there.
Edit to add: doing so won’t delete games/data you want to keep; it also helps with corrupted save files in some situations.

It's weird, I've seen a lot of people mentioning this yet have never noticed any issues on PS5 on my end. I wonder what would cause it for some but not for others.

I play on a monitor and have it set to highest settings. I have never had a teammate in co-op say anything about Manny when I use. What are the people experiencing this lag using?

Sceptre monitor, HDMI 2.1 and 120hz on PS5
Same monitor I used last year, same settings but this is the first time I’ve had the dreads issue

Something I just noticed: it seems the lag I was experiencing was only happening in Major League stadiums.
Before today, I had only used Manny in conquest.
Just played a ranked game at Shippet and didn’t encounter any issues when hitting with him

So possibly a combo; interesting. And troublesome to fix.

Same. No lag on Manny (or other dreadlocked players), and no overheating. Almost makes me think that Sony may have sent some bad hardware into the world that is getting exposed, for whatever reason, by this game (could be something unintentionally intensive, but seems the overwhelming majority of PS5s handle it all just fine).
Not doubting that others are struggling with it, but with the same game affecting people differently, maybe the culprit variable is faulty GPU cooling when the hardware is asked to work (not saying it should be asked to work as hard as it is).

They just confirmed on their stream that they’re addressing this in the next patch
