My Game occasionally turns off or pops up with message that my PS5 is overheating. This only Happens when I am pitching or a bullpen scene is happening. I really hope this is not a console thing given that this game is marketed to be playable on PS5. Please someone help make this game sustainably playable!

Change your pitching camera to one behind the plate.

well i was going to get the PS5 version Tuesday but going to skip it now until they fix this. I haven't had any issues on XBOX - fingers crossed.

Looks like even on Reddit people are reporting this -
    https://www.reddit.com/r/MLBTheShow/comments/1jd2rmw/mlb_25_causing_my_ps5_to_overheat_anyone_else/

But how can you make a game that causes the console to overheat? And you're a first party developer! It's you're own console! If this game is going to make my PS5 break then I'm not getting it.

I just turned my PS5 on and was at the end of my 1st conquest game and got the overheating message

this happened a lot in last years version too but it was also summer and such so attributed it to the weather and such aka warmer room then normal.

Would someone who works for SDS or something please say something cause this is annoying AF

    Thx...

Day after / morning after -- same thing -- near end of conquest game just need 3 outs and get the over heating thing again

SDS -- Speak up -- even if your like we are not sure -- say something like were looking into it but to leave fans going what is going on is wrong.

If i or others were complaining like normal over whatever -- game to tough , hitting to hard , stuff like this and not saying this just giving past examples of stuff people complained about. Then sure responding to everyone complaining would be a 24/7 job and NOTHING would get done but this needs to be addressed.

Just curious: those that get the message, how long have you had your console?

Mine will be 2 years old in May and have had 0 problems (this game or others); could it be dust buildup?

Mine like 10 months ish cause I went from PS4 to 5 like 2 months ish into last game and btw this is the ONLY game I have had this issue with and like i said in my post last night did the same last year.

This means that it's an issue they either have not addressed OR cannot fix but instead of communicating with it's fan base it leaves us hanging.

    @blitz77tw_PSN

Did you changed camera to strikezone 2 or 3? If so, is the issue still there?

For the record, I've been playing quite a lot being retired myself, and on XBox X/S I have not seen any console related issues from MLB 25. So, this does seem to be rooted only with the PS consoles.

Overhearing like crazy. Brand new ps5 and even changed pitching camera angle. Only game that overheats and shouldn’t with a brand new console …

@FNasty14_PSN Do you have it in a confined space like between a wall and a monitor or something like that?
