I was figuring that I might be the first here to post this horrible news, but I'm not really surprised to see you other two renowned stadium designers beat me to it.
Yep, there is practically nothing new here!
How far down the well does one have to go to find something "new" here? Well, all those promising "Y" letters displayed on a prop type, which is supposed to denote the presence of new props in that type, no. There are no new props. The only "new" thing is that you can use your controller to select sub-categories of the prop type, which allows one to cycle through props of a given theme inside a given type. In short, you can reduce the time it takes to search for the prop you desire in that category!
The guess that since Stadium Creator was supposedly used to create the high school and college ballparks would mean we would get chain link fence wall types, or yellow lines? Nope, we don't even get that!
Being double retired from both civilian and military careers, I'm not financially challenged, so it isn't the fact I wasted my money buying this latest title that angers me. What angers me is the feeling of being misled by a design team that doesn't care about their customers.
For all the lack of effort here, I would have actually been less disappointed if Stadium Creator was simply abandoned. For the record, I won't be creating any new stadiums. Not with this nonsense I will not.
