Live Series Team Collection rewards

@SakAttack87_PSN I recall missing some at the beginning of the year, like Tatis, but that may have been a suspension. I know there have been other instances though. They were still in the game, but part of the free agents.
-
Yeah I'm figuring Acuña will be part of the collection, maybe The Show Gods bless me and make him an 89 OVR? I doubt it but Justice being an 87 OVR gives me a tiny bit of hope.
-
They don't move diamonds from the collection.Trout has been on the 60 day each year since 2020 and he never left the collection once
-
@wingspan1985_PSN
Acuna is an 87 -
@BillyPic5_PSN Oh then I'm getting Justice tonight! I'm assuming Sale is the only other LS diamond. I'll have to check out the ratings, didn't know they were available to see. That is fantastic news!

Tatis was pulled mid year due to his suspension but he was still in the Padres collection the following year. The only diamond i recall being a free agent at early access was Snell i think last year.
-
they said on stream whatever rating the collection reward is, that is the highest diamond. So, either Sale or Acuna or both are 87.
-
@BillyPic5_PSN Ah, I got ya. I haven't checked out any of the streams, so thanks for the info!
-
@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN Ok and that was a late signing.

Los Angeles - Fernando Valenzuela 92
San Diego - Trevor Hoffman 88
San Francisco - Orlando Cepeda 84Although this may sound like a complaint, it’s not meant to be. I just find having Larry Walker as a StL Cards reward odd. Yes, he played for them at the end of a great HOF career but appeared in just 144 games. I associate Walker with the Rockies. Someone like Ryan Ludwick or a return of Yadi Molina or Albert Pujols would make more sense, wouldn’t it?
The same goes for Eloy Jimenez with the White Sox. SDS couldn’t make a gold Paul Konerko card?
Reggie Sanders for the Reds ... how about Deion Sanders instead?
I’m sure money has something to do with it. Maybe Yadi and Albert want more money than SDS is willing to pay. I would have to believe that’s the case with “Prime Time” Deion.
Oh well --

I think Kike only played one season for the Red Sox. But I'm not mad because I love his cards.

Don't they always wait for 5 years after retirement to add legends?

It's weird and seems to be a case-by-case negotiation more than a universal waiting period because some players like David Wright were out of the game for exactly five years while a guy like Curtis Granderson retired after 2019 and was not only still in 20, but I think he's been in every installment since then.
-
@silviodante007_PSN Depends on the fan I guess. I’m hoping to get a Padres Reggie Sanders. He was only here for a season, but it was one of his best.

Granderson is actually the unicorn in this case. When he retired it was after a certain date so he still belonged under the MLBPA agreement and hence was still in 20. He was out in 21 and came back in 22 and he's the only player I can recall where that has happen

God not Ryan Ludwick. Unless they pull something out of their hat Pujols and Molina are not back in the game yet.
I am kind of happy it is somebody new and that they did not waste an 85 diamond on a better player.
-
@Dolenz64_XBL Why not Ludwick? He was a great Cardinal!

Eh, he was just was never one of my favorites and we have gotten him two years in a row. Good card but I am happy for a change. I am sure Ludwick will still get dropped later.
