I will check. I’m on Xbox so I’m not sure if it’s different from PlayStation
-
Thank you! I am on Xbox so I will check tonight.

Xbox is so much better; you can do everything through the console without waiting on hold. I've gotten my money back on bad games by claiming I bought the wrong version, and I have yet to be denied a refund. Sony is terrible with refunds, though.

So do I just have to contact customer service? I appreciate all the responses!

No, it's simpler than that. Go to your Xbox home screen, hit the home button on the controller, scroll to the Home, profile, and system tab, go down to the Xbox Support text and click on it. Hit the search bar in the upper right corner and type "refund digital games," then click on "About digital game refunds." On the next page, click the PC/mobile option. This should bring up a barcode, but you can just use the Edge web browser. Click "Open here" at the bottom of the page.
Scroll down until you see an option to sign in and enter your password. This should bring up your recently purchased games; choose the game you want and start your refund process. You should receive your refund in about an hour.

I really appreciate all the help! I just wanted to make sure I wouldn’t get charged for 2 different versions of the game.

So much easier on PS lol. No refunds involved. If you buy the standard version, they give you the option to upgrade to deluxe for $30. But yeah its so much better on Xbox lol
-
@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN that’s so much nicer! I was able to get my refund and get the deluxe instead!

Well, if you attempted to refund a digital game through PSN, they would tell you that you weren't eligible, even if you only played the game once, until, of course, they were sued by Australia for consumer rights violations and illegal business practices. But yeah, Xbox is bad.
