Getting packages delivered to the wrong house

I ordered a mug and a magazine online because they didn't have them in store, finally got delivered tonight only to be delivered to my neighbors house instead so my mom went over there to get them but they were in the road instead because my neighbor threw them there because he realized that they weren't his, has anyone else had that happen to them? I'm only ordering things because the Eagles won the Superbowl so it's hard to find certain things in store
