Ive tried pinpoint a few times and I just can't fathom doing all that for every pitch, and it somehow being better, when I already put the pitch exactly where I want with analog , 98% of the time.

I don't like pinpoint at all. I use analog online and do just fine.

I prefer meter, pinpoint seems to hang everything that isn't perfect

I use pulse still and can get to World Series most seasons in ranked. I find it very usable

I use pulse also. It’s fine just wish the pars were a little smaller

I use analog. Too old to learn pinpoint and my thumb doesn't work that way

Being a lefty is a bit of a struggle for me with PP. My issues are never pitching related, always hitting lol

@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN Do you play Ranked with meter? How do you find the misses on meter online? I swear it feels completely random

I've always used meter (and play 300 - 500 Ranked games a year with it)... it doesn't feel random to me when I miss; if I don't go far enough, it seems to float (e.g. right-handed slider doesn't break as much, stays high, and doesn't reach the PAR), and if I go too far, it's overthrown (right-handed slider overshoots the PAR and end up lower in the zone).

There's always the chance that something random happens on rare occasions, but my experience is that my mistakes in the zone reflect my mistakes with the meter.

I use pinpoint. Funny when i really started playing DD in 2020, it was all meter, then 2021 was pinpoint...nope not for me...til late 2021...now i can't go back. Even though i believe its flawed, its still the easiest thing for me.

Didnt play any ranked solo this year, but i was fine with it in co-op. My misses feel like its a result of an early/late release and not so much just randomly placed.

Same…I have arthritis & tendinitis in my hands. Pulse is the only way I can pitch.

@bostondirtdog21_PSN meter still feels more comfortable to me too. And I’m ok when it hangs a pitch because I know I completely messed it up haha

Well from what i know from being a "true pure analog pitcher" since 2011. I would say that u tend to miss your spots more and throw more pitches. Therefore u lose more stamina n confidence than the pinpoint users -_-
