"Guarantee it is!"
"Guarantee it's not!"
Lol, really. 2K released different versions of NBA last time I bought it -- a few years ago when current gen was next gen.
I "guarantee" that if there is a current gen, they're not abandoning the last gen. Too much $.
GUARANTEED, lol.
Remember when people guaranteed McGwire and Sosa would never be in the game?

Put pitcher pitch mix on the screen. That way your opponent can see it and doesn't have to hit R2 after EVERY F'N pitch.
-
Get rid of high elevation stadiums, except Coors Field, in H2H play. No more Shield Woods and Laughing Mountain.
-
DONT ALLOW CREATED STADIUMS IN H2H PLAY!
-
-
@Capt-Clutch-2K24_PSN disagree on created stadiums , just make sure the dimensions meet a realistic minimum.
I only play in my created stadium. -

Game play should be the focus, and that focus should primarily be on improved, simulated physics and a more realistic distribution of hits.
Which mode are we talking about here. Franchise with a live roster or Diamond Dynasty with dream teams?
There is always going to be a debate over whether this game is a simulation or an arcade game. Personally, I'd put DD more in the arcade category.
People don't play DD to hit singles with Ozzie Smith or someone like Keith Hernandez. There is a reason people choose Trea Turner and Lindor over Smith. Why they would choose Harper or Freeman over Hernandez.
People want to hit HRs. Shoot there is a reason we see several people every year complain about the HR counter being reset after 255 HRs in RTTS.
There has always been two camps with this game. Those who want an even more realistic simulation and those who just want to get on the game and smash with their favorite players. There is no path SDS can take that will ever 100% satisfy both groups.

After each player picks their pitcher let us see them so we can make any lineup changes we want on the lineup screen instead of having to do it in game.

would be less fun … and some guys here told us, that it was in the game … being an awful thing, so it was dropped

Cause they'll play 9 RHB if it's LHP and vice versa. They could just play nine switch hitters though.

It used to be in.
People would stack their lineups with lefties and if they came up against a leftie pitcher they simply backed out of the game and were never being penalized for it. It wastes the time of the other player and is just a cheap tactic.

Seems the easy solution is to allow us to set a lineup vs L and one vs R

They had that. People used to back out, without any negative impact, if they didn't get an advantage.

The question you gotta ask is why does somebody want it? I would really love to know if Nolan Ryan is on the bump for my opponent … But on the other hand: it is much more fun not knowing and taking on the challenge, if I see it. If then I want to platoon … it is up to me.

Don't these types of players just load up on switch hitters now?

On average a typical god squad consists of 6-7 … I encountered a few all-switch-hitter-lineup recently. Most of them have at least 3 switch-hitters on the bench.

I didn't spend a single dime in 24 . This year I plan on purchasing stubs equal to game price even though it's probably free on game pass , I think its fair . But if they get rid of created stadiums. I ain't paying nothing .

At this point most of the best hitters/swings are switch hitters anyway
Ketel, jram, mantle, Reynolds, lindor, Adley(pop time), posada, etc
