Disappearing Runners

Yeah this has happened to me a few times over the years with various versions of this title, but it just literally happened to me twice in the bottom of the 9th on a game I loss by 1. It’s currently much worse than normal, I have had 3 incidents today alone

Happened to me just tonight (7-24-24). And once late last weekend. IBB and shoulda been bases loaded when I was hoping for at least an attempt at a walk off. Down 2, 2 outs, 2 on, and I get walked. Bases shoulda been loaded. Nope. Runner on second has now disappeared. No record in the game log what happened. Nothing. Not even that I was walked. And tonight was a single that would’ve loaded the bases and lo and behold, runner on second disappeared AGAIN with not an out, not a run, nothing. Evidently it’s been an ongoing thing for years. Reddit is all over it. Same thread trends year after year. This and then all of a sudden the opposing team scoring 7 runs in an inning and I get the floor mopped with me is getting stupidly frustrating!!!!

Happens all the time. I'd also estimate that about 95% of the time the opposing team scores 7 or 8 runs the next inning.

@tedlanc_XBL just grabbed this as the PlayStation free game. Waited due to past bugs. First night I'm playing, grabbed a game at random, I was down six to one starting on hard mode. Had a guy on first, hit a single and the guy going to second disappeared. This is not something that they care about apparently and exactly why I don't play this game anymore. The show has always been the best baseball game but with blatant bugs like this I would definitely not put my money into this next year.

Happens constantly, especially in clutch situations and I don’t know how the [censored] they can’t fix this

Had it happen in a moment, 8th inning RBI single by me to put down by 1, got an ab in extra and I didn't have a run scored, checked log had my RBI single, next batter single no mention of me, next batter single runner in 1st advance to second then an RBI hit.
only when I checked the box score did I find out what happened, my player had a CS listed ( he was 99 speed so makes sense he'd try to get in scoring position) curious that the CS wasn't in the log. -
Caught stealings and pick offs rarely if ever appear in the game log. Seems the only things that appear in the log are end of plate appearances. I don’t know if that’s standard or not but it’s annoying when reviewing simmed innings.

Baserunners still disappearing in the late innings or extras. Almost a given now that if I'm going into extra innings, I'm going have a baserunner or 2 disappear in order to for the AI to secure a specific outcome of the game. Year after year, it's an issue. Year after year, we report the bug. Year after year, same bug. Love the game but this stuff is frustrating. -
This has been a constant issue in my RTTS save...I'll come up after the batter head of me draws a walk, it'll tell me to advance the runner...and there's no runner anymore.
