I like that SDS has made some of the handout cards available in packs now. I think there are still some unobtainables (Freeman, Betts handouts). My wish is that when the content is completely done and we are in full forever mode that they ensure all cards are available and there are no 'dead cards'.

2023 has a different problem: there are 100+ dead cards from WBC and Mexico programs that they had to remove. This makes the core Albies unobtainable as well as the third round of s1 collection. There are also a number of other dead cards (Kaiju takeover cards, London series, and some others). Asking for these to be added back is a fantasy (although 2023 is more active than people think), but I'm hoping they could tweak the core and s1 collections.

I get there is little to gain for SDS for doing this (and I am probably underestimating effort involved), but people like me do play prior year versions in down time to try to complete collections.

They are barely updating 24 at this point so I wouldn't count on it.

The only time they will touch 23 again will likely be when they cut the servers in a few years.

I don't disagree with you, especially with 2023.

It's a shame because its the best forever mode of all the games. Large variety of 99s, gorgeous finest and lots of them, variety of mini seasons for offliners, still pretty active (at least during peak times) for event/BR. Its also the most pleasing to me aesthetically outside of the game - no overly flashy pink writing, just a simple, clean presentation that works so well.
