This is a pretty subjective question. It really depends on your style of play. Personally, I like to have 5 tool players at every position, and I like my starters to pitch from the stretch and have a slider and/or slurve.

Have the cpu set your roster

I’ll be building a team with contact vs L, contact vs R, power vs L, power vs R. , and vision all greater than 100. That seems to be the best lineup for me. Switch hitter, preferable. And if they can steal, even better!

Have the cpu set your roster
If you redo the roster as a Season 4 roster, you don't need the wild cards. In my companion app, it shows the roster I made as Season 4 saying "Wild Off."

Rebuild your roster as a Season 4 roster. That takes out the wild cards.

S1 'Show Classics' Niko Goodrum is an insane, overlooked card who's stayed in my lineup all '24. I don't know how his 84 Vision plays online, though.
Same as S1 MA Elly and his 70 Vision. They are awesome offline, at least.
The Milestone S1 Rollins is just obscene! No one talks about him these days.....

Is S4 XP reward Bobby Witt the best SS card? Looks to be 95+ fielding, 99 speed, and strong hitting and vision stats. Is he the best in the game noting it’s a premium position?

If you like his swing, then yes. Otherwise, I contend (based solely on my swing preferences) that Trea Turner, Lindor, Bo Bichette, Mookie Betts, and even Jackson Merrill are better cards. All depends on swing preference.

@TrainerMatt21_PSN thank you. I think I get too blind to the stats rather than which cards I play better with. So I’d always take a 125/125 over a 120/121 even though the latter I might hit better with or just prefer as a player. I’ll try going with who I like for a bit than keep running out Mickey Mantle who is barely hitting .140 for me online!! Thanks again

I think the best team build, which makes the cards the best, is the Jackie Robinson cover art captain. He gives insane boosts to already great cards. If you have that captain, go build that team out. For example, with that boost, the Finest Judge gets to 85 speed and many of the other players wind up with max contact (both sides) max clutch and even max speed. It is an insane boost.
