Unknown what they will do. Last year they released a lot, but they have already started ending content this year

I suspect one pitcher and hitter per team as captains, another 5-10 or so from a program and a few from collections.

But they're both literally the definition of Finest this year.

How could you ignore them when they were clearly 2 of the 3 best players in MLB?

They’ve always done it in the past. There’s plenty of other players who haven’t had cards this year that have had good years. Why repeat a card that we have exactly the same one already? Dodgers and Mets have plenty of players to choose from. It would be different if Lindor and Ohtani haven’t had an elite 99 card released in season 3 but they have cards that really can’t be any better unless Ohtani had pitching also.
