"I don't personally like the player so it sucks"
Did I say that? It's not just Vlad Sr that made the good program end rather weakly, I was just hoping for 2-3 new cards like every other day.

Does anyone who completed the showdown have a comment about how it was? I’d like to hear a comment or two before I try it. Thank you.
I mostly play offline and the showdown wasn’t too bad. I was able to complete it by doing the following:
*All showdown pitchers are righties, so I drafted mostly left-handed batters. I only drafted right-handed batters when they were the best available card. (for example a 99 card vs low 90s cards)
*I usually wait for 2 strikes before I attempt to swing, so I picked perks that are activated after 2 strikes. I also found the “Vision Boost” perk and the “Trailing After 7 Innings” perk helpful.
*I like to have a player on my bench with 88 speed (or higher) to steal or tag-up in a close game.
*I drafted Bryce Harper’s Live Series card because I hit well with it. Lol.

I hate that you have to do the showdown to complete!! All the way to Lee twice. @SDS, add a repeatable so we can choose how to complete this program please
-
Pick cards that your good with and also make sure you have speed in your lineup and most importantly on your bench
-
I hope they had something on Friday that’s a repeatable mission. I really hate showdowns.

Agree but I guess shouldn’t be surprised something fun turns into something not fun for me

Other than Baez and Granderson so far it looks like all of these "Spooky" cards will forever disappear from my lineup.

Agree on Granderson. After initially being a dud for me, Ryan Howard picked up and started hitting well. So I'd say him, too.

O'Neil Cruz and Lee Smith are the only cards I use from this program.

Lee Smith is definitely staying in my bullpen
