It’s Vientos, Castellanos and Quintana. Weird that we get another 99 Vientos so soon and only 1 Philly when they lost. Maybe Harper is the collection reward.

Sure Vientos has a 99. That the vast majority of people dont have. The only reason its weird is that they have enough time to pull it back and wait for an NLCS card instead.
Wheeler not getting a card is weird. Harper I suspect is in extreme program.

I don't understand why they wouldn't give Wheeler a card but give that mets pitcher a card when wheeler was definitely the better pitcher in that series

As I said in the other thread, they may be holding him back for a Finest card next season.

This is where the people that complain about multiple cards for the same player annoy me.
There is no reason he shouldnt have both. Let people use this one for 5 weeks, then they can decide later if they want to replace it with a slightly different card.If this is why these series only have 3 cards each thats a massive failure.
And Vientos kind of makes the finest argument moot, because he should 100% get a Finest too.

Sometimes thats a good excuse, but they can always release more cards. more cards is going to be better than less cards 99.9% of the time. Not putting out a 99 Dodger Piazza because they plan to have a 99 met Piazza (or vice versa) for example is bad decision making. There absolutely should be 2 Piazza 99s. Every program but 1 this year had less cards than it should have so they arent taking away anyones cards having multiple 99 Piazzas.
Not giving Wheeler a 99 in a program that has 1-2 less cards than it deserves is absolute horse [censored]. And not giving Vientos a Finest because he got a playoff card here would also be horse [censored] if thats the route SDS takes.

I would wager less than 10% of players have the first 99 Vientos so I honestly feel his other 99 is irrelevant.
But given his NLCS grand slam was known a day before the program, they could have given the card to Wheeler instead and slipped him a NLCS card.
But really there should be 5 cards per series here. lets celebrate the playoffs.

@Teak2112_MLBTS I doubt that only 10% of still active players have that card. It’s not expensive either. I’d much rather get another 99 of a player that hasn’t got one yet.

I dont even know that there is a supply for 10% of players.
It was a 1/10 drop from a pack with a limited supply
