LET'S HAVE BRONZES IN OUR MOMENTS...AND YOU GET TO HIT HOMERUNS WITH THEM! WHAT COULD GO WRONG?

Sarcasm aside, who tf thought it was fun to try and hit homeruns with a 71 MJ Melendez? This moment absolutely sucks.
-
that one was super easy. i just sat on a off speed pitch low in the zone and pulled it

You also could have gotten lucky, but no, I’m sure it was probably all ‘skill’

just keep the PCI low in the zone. it isnt “luck” lol

He has the power attribute (78) to hit it out. I think it is the 50 contact and 56 vision that will cause issues for some. There is less margin for error.
I took me multiple tries but I think I actually got it done just as quickly as the Ohtani HR moment.

@Dolenz_PSN it’s probably entirely psychological, but for me I’d like my chances hitting a home run more with 50 contact and 78 power than someone who is 95 contact and 78 power. Less margin for error but if you make contact, it’s more likely to go.
Weirdly it feels to me that when contact outweighs the power number, you get lots more base hits - good for Ranked but not for moments!

That could be but I have always felt like I struggled getting the timing right with low vision guys. That green band in the swing feedback is much smaller.

As someone who uses timing I still havent figured out if vision is a good thing because the outer area of green is guaranteed foul balls while just outside of green is often good contact
