Why most 'good players' have the same pitching style? After the first 2 at bats I already know I will only see breaking pitches below the zone. I have played complete games with not a single pitch in the upper half of the zone. It's really boring knowing that you have to wait for 3 slurves below the zone before you see a strike. It kills creativity and is not fun.

I'll be sure to tell a major league pitcher to be sure to throw meatballs instead of try and get someone out so it's less boring for you.

Because it works, just like slow cutters and changeups away work

For any hitter thats halfway good a 4 seamer up in the zone is usually a auto hr, so most will throw cutter/sinker up.

I think for the most part you can really only throw sliders up if it's a fast slider like Donaldson and I think Kershaw typically has a faster slider... I'm pretty sure the mcgwire has a fast slider too which is why he's so good

Trevor McGill is sneaky good with his outlier curve or knuckle curve last year because everyone expects the loop to be slow. Pretty sure he had outlier 4 seam to go with it

Most good hitters I feel like it's hard to even use a slurve or curveball

this partly reminds me of the Bethesda quote about 'Astronauts werent bored when they landed on the moon' as to why people should be ok with bad game design, but doesnt really apply here. Its not bad game design, its just the nature of PvP.

I don't find facing online pitching fun in the slightest so I dont do it anymore.

I think most people's pitching strategy is to get outs. so however that pans out .. sometimes I get cheeky and throw up and in or right down the middle if the situation occurs and I can afford it, but those are the pitches that get blasted if I'm playing someone good so, yea, we're all just trying to win for the most part.

What if you hit it or lay off the pitch. I bet you he’ll try a different arm or different plan of attack bud.
