TA Season 3 Pt. 2

@Jeff7407_PSN Stop it. That’s exactly the kind of thing I don’t want. How about a 1996 Steve Finley? How about a 1992 Gary Sheffield? Adrian Gonzalez? Jake Peavy was 1 and done last year and we have a million Yankees in this game. Oh, and get Ken Caminiti and Kevin Brown in this game.
-
@GoozeFn_PSN has there ever been a Gossage Padres card? He is at least in the game.
-
@GoozeFn_PSN agree though Caminiti would be great adding another switch hitting third baseman.
-
@MarioMendoza935_XBL McCann and Staumont would been the cards I would have replaced. I would have replaced McCann with Eric Hosmer, and Staumont with Yordano Ventura; if the show has or had the rights to those two players. In order for sets and seasons to work in the future there has to be a lot more players than there are now. The recycling is getting to be a bit too much.

There seems to be a fair amount of hype for Soto.
Its crazy that all year we didnt really have a 99 lefty in the pen until that Billy Wagner, now we get 3 in the course of a week (Miller, Soto, Chapman)

It might even be 4 -- didn't Aaron Bummer get a 99 in the WC postseason program?

Holy [censored] he did. Forgot about him.
-
Instead of Napoli I wouldn't have minded an '03 Bill Meuller card, from when he won the batting title for Boston

You reuse too many guys! Also replace the guy that you are giving a 90+ card to for the first time in who knows how long!

I think last year, or the year before, there was Gold Gossage for the Padres.

So he was the golden goose?
-
@Jeff7407_PSN Not that I recall. There has been one for the Cubs and White Sox though.
-
@Jeff7407_PSN And his MVP season would make a great finest card.
-
@xsdert34_PSN Recycling would work better if they recycled players for different teams. Getting several Mike Schmidt’s for the same team is useless and lazy. Recycling say Mike Piazza for the Mets, Dodgers and even Padres would work and be welcomed.
-
@X-FREEZE-OFF-X_PSN I think you’re thinking of the White Sox gold.

Yes. My bad. Gossage was a Gold for the White Sox. The one for the Padres was Rollie Fingers.

Well Schmidt is an elite player and he only played for one team. He should definitely get a strong early card and a strong late card.
I agree about Piazza though, he should have had at least a 97 by now for the Dodgers, with his mets card being Hall of Fame in s4
Cool to see Eddie getting a Guardians card, thats a guy who has a case for cards for 4 different teams.
-
@Teak2112_MLBTS I don’t see any reason at all for more than 2 Mike Schmidt cards especially because he has a notoriously bad swing and most people won’t use him. I’m just saying that they could do a much better job of repeating guys from multiple teams rather than guys like him.

Here is the AL West
Like when they give Ozzie Smith more power than he ever had, I can't imagine how much they have to boost Gallo's contact numbers seeing as how he batted .209 and had 196 strike outs that year (36% Strike Out percentage. ).
-
Why is Eckersley a 91 card? That was one of his worst seasons during his peak with Oakland
Would have been cool to give him to Boston for his 20 win season
