@Dolenz_PSN This is one of my main problems with this studio, they release the best cards so late in late fall/winter thinking it will bring in some huge wave of players. Most people, myself included are playing better games at that point. I'm not a big 99 card buff, but anything respectable over 85 works for me.
They couldn't even give Eckersley an 85. But a gold for late September is a joke
Their pacing could maybe be better but I understand that they can't release all the best cards by the end of the World Series. There is roughly 5 months more that they need to at least attempt to keep relevant for those who play all year long.
And I believe all of those cards late in the year does entice some to stick with the game, maybe not me but I have always been more casual with it.

Isn't it funny how the Negro Leaguers Dont get the HOF card art, They get the old school art with 1 to No quirks. SDS, THERE HOF'S TOO!

They were Lazy, dropping Last years Buck Oneil, stats and all. Boring. Did they forget the Negro Leaguers ACTUALLY ARE HALL OF FAMERS TOO. Why not Get Buck Oneil a HOF card art and boost his stats? Nope, there lazy and or disrespectful, just giving us the same card from last year.

In addition, some of the pitchers (Dihigo, Mendez, Rube Foster) don't count on the Mike Mussina boost (HoF pitchers boost).

I am guessing that there are quite a few HOFers beyond the Negro Leagues stars that don't have a HOF card.
For the Cardinals alone there is Musial, Smith and Brock and I would guess there are examples like that for most teams.

In Buck's case I think recycling that particular art is fine. Its great art, and they gave it to the new players too.
Does anyone even play BR anymore? Card prices have certainly skyrocketed since s1/2. Gold for 15k? No thanks.
If they dont implement proper matchmaking for BR next year they really need to give a place outside of BR to earn the same cards.

They are waiting until the playoffs and the 2nd drop to open the floodgates. We are going to be swarmed with end game stuff and all will be well for about 2-3 weeks

But it is funny. I honestly think SDS realized what I did, the Red Sox had been screwed in Season 3 to this point. -

@ANF_GOLD99_PSN It is crazy that they did this whole deal with the negro leagues and never put out anything people will actually use. It’s bad enough they don’t fit a team for any of the missions. No quirks. They should go hard early in the season with them if they aren’t going to give them quirks or better cards and maybe do a dedicated replacement program like team affinity for the negro leagues.

That card is glitched or something.
Common Randy Johnson doesn't count for the Mussina boost or the Verlander boost. Eck also doesn't count for the Mussina boost.
