The potential problem is what will it cost for their rights? It’s a good idea, but would you still want it if it’s at the cost of a significant legend?

I'm fine with either but coach idea sounds better to free up the roster spot.
I still like the pitcher / batter captain combo cause you can spin it a bit and it's not just a blank slate of buffs.
Like I want to see more bunting boosts, fielding boosts, speed boosts, etc. I feel like with only one coach or player to do the boosting you would need a LOT of cards with variety to meet that request. Right now you can mix and match your boosts and make some diversity.
