SDS is promoting, like crazy, about MLB The Show 24 being free PS+ now.

So if someone wants to start playing now; how are they supposed to get all the older cards that aren't available on the market?

S1 and S2 Cornerstone Captains, Futures Game players, the free AJ that was in the show shop? Plus many more.

Some of those will be in the forever program. They will miss out on some though. Same as every year.

We're in Season 3 right now....why would they be worried about collecting that stuff right now? If it's that important to them they should've bought the game when it was released.

Agreed with all of you. I bought the game late, starting in Season 2. Now I have most cards I want, but for example, I can't get the 99 Jimmy Rollins.

But that's on me. I could have started playing the game earlier. So late-starters have to suck it up.

The game is free, i don't think sds cares. Neither should the person getting the game for free

People shouldn't be defending this.

Time limited card giveaways should never be a thing. Just give a quick moment so they are forever available. Keep the fomo time limited giveaways to packs

I suspect everything except the freebies will be back in forever season though. Including the cornerstones.
